The Moscow office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is home to a team of highly experienced Russian and U.S. lawyers who have been active in significant transactions throughout the region for more than a decade. We have represented Russian enterprises in groundbreaking transactions necessary to achieve their business objectives and in legal disputes critical to the future of their success. Our clients have included several of the largest Russian oil companies, the leading Russian electric utility, one of the largest Russian telecommunications companies and several leading Russian financial institutions. In addition, we have advised large Western enterprises with respect to their entry into the Russian market through acquisitions and start-up activities.
