Company History IRG was established in February 2005 and has been built on a wealth of knowledge within the recruitment research arena. With 23 years experience between them, Research Consultants at IRG are all graduate calibre individuals with an abundance of professional understanding of a wide range of industries including Sales, Marketing, Media, Retail, Advertising and Business Consulting. IRG provides a research facility for the recruitment industry. We do not work directly with companies themselves, this of course is the Recruitment Consultants’ market – we work solely for the recruitment industry. We provide extensive research for our clients on both a national and international scale and across a diversity of sectors and job disciplines. We provide 3 main services: 1. Target List Generation In collaboration with yourselves we will produce a list of target companies in which the person you are seeking is likely to work. These companies could be key competitors or could be outside of the market sector. 2. Identification We then confidentially identify the relevant people within the structure of each company – in most cases we will specifically map the entire department so that it provides you with a comprehensive view of all possible candidates. 3. Candidate Approach Without revealing the name of our client, we can then approach the relevant candidates in confidence. When a candidate expresses his/her interest, we will assess their background, aspirations and salary details. Following this conversation, we then produce a candidate profile and also request a CV to be sent to us by email. We can also offer other research services including: • Salary surveys. • Market Research. • Obtain Direct Lines and Mobile phone numbers. • Database Cleansing The process we use is transferable to almost every job discipline – this explains why we have helped to place people from Sales Assistants within retail outlets to Managing Directors and Chief Executives of international Blue–chip companies. Although we can work within any market sector, our specialist areas could be described as the following: • IT/Telecoms • Engineering/Construction • Finance/Accountancy • Financial Services • Investment Banking • Management Consultancy • Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals • Sales & Marketing • Manufacturing • Leisure • FMCG and Retail • Law • Service led Business Benefits of Research • Time and Cost Effective – A typical search assignment lasts five days which includes all three procedures. We believe that the cost of this service (detailed below) is minimal compared to that of advertising for example. However we do work on a day to day basis, so if you are only wanting us to generate a list of potential candidates for you to approach, that can take 1–2 days for the full Identification process. Basically, you only pay for the time we spend on your assignment. • Short Lead Time – Your assignment will be started either the day we receive the brief or the following day. Our lead time will never go beyond one week. • Targeted Approach – We search purely within the relevant market and specific departments to ensure that we locate the candidates that your clients are looking for. • Flexibility – From the way in which you would like us to approach candidates to the depth of our involvement in the entire process, we are flexible in our approach. • Regular Communication – The consultant dedicated to your assignment will remain in regular contact with yourself throughout the process and will provide daily updates via email or telephone. • Results – The ideal candidate is not necessarily looking to leave the company that they work for and as a result are not looking at advertisements – we find these people, approach them and provide you with their CVs. Our Costs Our typical daily rate is £400+VAT. There are no hidden costs such as telephone charges or administration costs. What I would say is that no cost is set in stone, we can discuss this so don't let this be a deciding factor.
