The Embassy has full responsibilities for the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan. Our Mission actively promotes political, commercial, development, educational and other links with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. In addition, the Embassy's Canadian International Development Programme covers all five Central Asian republics, including Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. CIDA has chosen Tajikistan as one of its countries of particular interest.
