We are developing Ataccama ONE, a software platform that helps our Fortune 500 and other clients process manage, and monitor (big) data.

Our developers use mainly Java and React to develop a bleeding-edge Data Curation Platform.

On the frontend, we use technologies such as React, Redux, Sass, ES6, and microservice-based architecture, the new version of our platform is built with user-defined and dynamic UI using TypeScript, GraphQL, Apollo, MobX and Styled Components.

The backend is a RESTful API built in Java 8 and above version, using Spring, Hibernate, ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ, and most importantly a microservice-based approach to ensure robustness & scalability.

Behind the web backend, there is also an engine that crunches all the data. This engine is also written in Java, with a focus on performance and stability. It can work with a wide array of data sources - from Excel files to open-source databases like PostgreSQL to obscure proprietary solutions like IBM Informix. The engine runs the data processing either in our standalone Java server or it can delegate the work to the Hadoop or Spark cluster.

Our cloud SaaS product runs on Amazon AWS, and we are using Docker & Rancher to manage our infrastructure. We're also using tried-and-true technologies like BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins & Slack to manage our development process.

Our company uses an agile methodology based on SCRUM - we've got multiple teams that are continuously improving our product. Code reviews, pair programmings & beer outings are a core part of our company culture.
