We keep growing globally, and are currently looking for an International Tax and Accounting Specialist to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Research & Compliance:

  • research and analyze tax and accounting legislation across jurisdictions, including but not limited to the EU, UK, Russia & CIS countries, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Turkey;
  • monthly/quarterly review of tax and accounting reports (CIT, VAT, personal income tax, etc.) and primary documentation for countries such as Hungary, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, UAE, Brasil and in perspective - Turkey, and Spain, ensuring compliance with all regulations;
  • assess tax implications for international transactions and provide actionable recommendations;
  • prepare and submit VAT reports for UK B2C transactions, as well as compliance filings for Controlled Foreign Companies (CFC).

Consultation & Analysis:

  • provide consultations and conduct in-depth analysis of complex global tax and accounting legislation (including Russia, EU, etc.) upon request;
  • review and revise contracts with a focus on tax-related provisions, as well as draft contracts and primary documents when the Finance Department initiates operations.

Audits:

  • support in tax and accounting audits, including collecting necessary documents from other departments as required, and preparing or assisting with responses to tax authorities;
  • potential involvement in pre-litigation tax disputes, including preparing responses to tax authorities and auditors.

Collaboration & Process optimization:

  • collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and accounting service providers to optimize tax efficiency and compliance processes;
  • monitor legislative changes to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance gaps;
  • assist in developing methodologies for financial and tax accounting, implementing and refining accounting software, and supporting the creation of templates for automated data uploads to optimize workflows;
  • support the development of standardized contract templates and other documentation to streamline and optimize processes.

Administrative and supporting tasks:

  • draft clear and precise correspondence to tax authorities and other stakeholders;
  • handle administrative tasks, including registration on tax and finance platforms;
  • process and manage large volumes of detailed information, ensuring high accuracy;
  • suggest and implement improvements in tax processes while adhering to deadlines.

Key Qualifications:

  • bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related field;
  • minimum 3 years in accounting and tax compliance, focusing on international taxation;
  • experience in an international corporation, consulting firm, or Big Four is highly desirable;
  • strong understanding of international tax regulations and accounting principles;
  • analytical mindset with attention to detail for complex calculations and reporting;
  • intermediate-upper intermediate English (written and spoken) is mandatory;

  • proficiency in accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite;

  • ability to see the broader picture, including material and non-material impacts;
  • proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
  • strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • effective communication, particularly in cross-cultural environments;
  • resilience and adaptability when handling repetitive or detail-heavy tasks.
