Chief Technology Officer

Possible (but not obligatory) relocation to Serbia.

Objective: To lead and manage team of technology, supporting them in building an industry-leading product using robust architectural practices and innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for leading in-house and outsourced development teams to meet the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of software development, maintenance and infrastructure aligned with Business strategy.
• Assure architectural decisions are done in a professional manner and meet strategic goals of the Company.
• Managing inhouse and outsource development teams.
• Analysis and continuous improvement of existing IT services and tools to support business development.
• Provide proper controls of IT teams development quality and effectiveness
• Provide proper developments of IT staff skills.
• Provide insights about technology and market trends.

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a CIO, CTO in banking/brokerage is a must.
• Proven experience in line management with a key role in structuring business and system analysis, development, quality assurance and infrastructure teams.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and development effectiveness metrics.
• Good understanding of technology architectural principles and solutions architecture.
• Practical experience with Agile and knowledge of Agile frameworks.
• Detailed understanding of financial products and product supporting processes.
• Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions, ability to facilitate discussions towards common understanding and alignment on best course of action.
• Delivery excellence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
