Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Erlang Developer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Erlang and a strong track record in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable systems. You will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the architectural evolution of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, APIs, and processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications and systems using Erlang.

• Contribute to the architectural design of complex systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.

• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality output.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and operations teams to deliver seamless solutions.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and system performance as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption and effective solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Erlang development.

• Strong proficiency in Erlang, including experience with concurrency, distribution, and fault tolerance.

• Experience with designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures.

• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving complex issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead by example.
