IT Product and Process Compliance Officer

Experienced IT Product and Process Compliance Officer in IT risk and compliance team.

This role will focus on assessing new products, processes, and systems for compliance with security, risk, and regulatory standards before implementation. The candidate should have experience working with compliance frameworks and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a mid-level position requiring independent judgment and previous experience managing compliance and risk in new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the IT risk and compliance implications of new products, processes, and systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with product development, operations, and IT teams to ensure compliance and security requirements are integrated from the start.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BCP and DRP policies, particularly regarding the integration of new products and systems.
• Conduct security and compliance reviews for new initiatives, identifying risks and suggesting modifications.
• Ensure that new implementations meet internal policies and industry standards, including PCI DSS.
• Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management regarding risk and compliance assessments.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance, governance, or risk management, particularly related to new product and process implementation.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with proven ability to integrate security and compliance requirements into product development.
• Familiarity with BCP/DRP frameworks and the ability to assess their impact on new systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance and security in all stages of product development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
