IT Risk Analyst

Position Summary:

Experienced IT Risk Analyst in IT risk and compliance team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in conducting IT risk assessments, supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP). The role requires hands-on experience with risk management frameworks, as well as a deep understanding of IT systems and security. This position is suited for a professional with mid- level experience and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and assessing potential impacts on the organization.
• Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure implementation.
• Assist in the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of BCP and DRP policies and procedures.
• Provide continuous monitoring of IT systems for emerging risks and threats, recommending appropriate actions.
• Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, outlining findings and mitigation strategies.
• Support the testing and validation of BCP and DRP plans, ensuring they remain effective and up to date.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT risk management, compliance, or a similar role.
• Experience with risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST).
• Proven track record in supporting BCP/DRP initiatives.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and other relevant compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex risk scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
