As Business Development Manager in the field of calcium carbonate you are reporting directly to the General Manager and being responsible for:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategic plans to target new clients, including manufacturers in plastics, paints, paper
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of calcium carbonate products and applications and interact closely with marketing, sales and production
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, and R&D teams to align business strategies and ensure product offerings meet market demands

If you...

  • Have bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field or Engineering
  • Have 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the chemicals or materials industry, with a focus on calcium carbonate preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends
  • Are excellent in communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Are able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Have commercial mindset: understanding retailer and wholesale dynamics, trends and business models
  • Are a native speaker of market language and Business fluent English, Russian, Uzbek (preferred)
  • Have leadership skills as an inspiring and winning personality
