Community Manager (Discord)

What you’ll do:

• Actively engage and communicate with the community

• Manage social media groups

• Develop and increase activity on the Discord platform (including finding and configuring bots for server needs)

• Prepare, plan, and execute activations to boost activity on Discord

• Recruit and manage teams of volunteer moderators

• Prepare, translate, format, and edit materials for social media and in-game resources (large volumes of text and visual content)

• Generate ideas for new publication formats, and develop and implement these ideas to increase platform activity

• Maintain a friendly and constructive atmosphere in our communities, and promptly address any conflicts

• Analyze user behavior, collect feedback, and generate regular reports

• Stay updated on new social media tools, community development trends, and best global practices

What you need to succeed:

• Proficiency with Discord, including the ability to to find and configure bots for the platform (MEE6, ProBot, and others)

• Successful experience increasing and maintaining activity among Discord server members

• Creative thinking, communicativeness, stress resistance, multitasking, responsibility, punctuality

• Experience working with volunteers (moderators) and maintaining their motivation

• Knowledge of user motivation and engagement systems

Nice to have:

• Gaming industry experience, especially in the mobile game realm (strategy or collectible card games)
• Experience independently writing and integrating Discord bots
