NRW Officer

Position Summary:
The NRW officer will be supporting the NRW Manager in the preparation and implementation of the NRW reduction action plan.

He will be responsible of achieving the targets of water network performance as defined in the Co-management Contract.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Timely and properly follow the instructions given by the NRW Manager.
- Collect all the data needed to calculate the performance indicators of the water network and calculate their reliability.
- Analyze the data and prepare internal reports.
- Help the NRW manager with the coordination with all entities of Suez Tashkent and of TSST.
- Make a detailed follow up of the NRW actions plan (milestones, deliverables, costs)
- Prepare the weekly report and actions plan as well as all internal reports of Suez Tashkent related to the NRW management.
- Ensure protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties;
- The job description is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent.​​​​​​​

Qualifications:
- Degree in civil or mechanical engineering;
- Knowledge in Hydraulic and instrumentation
- Knowledge in water distribution infrastructure.
- Skills in project management
- Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian and English language.
- Proficiency in MS Office skills.

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:
- Ability of understanding basics of hydraulics
- Ability to interpret complex instructions, manuals, methodologies.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

For 160 years, SUEZ has been a key player in environmental services. Today, our services span across, water services, recycling and recovery & air quality.

Permanent entity of the French company SUEZ International SAS in Tashkent.
The company has signed a 7-year contract with Tashkent city municipality and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services on March 7, 2020.
Project: Tashkent water transformation plan
The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and sewerage networks and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.

Main activity:
- Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard
- Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent
- Improve financial sustainability of the water service.
