Delivery Manager
The IT company Andersen invites a Delivery Manager to join its team for working with a company from Saudi Arabia.
The customer is a holding company in the labor market in Saudi Arabia, operating under the Ministry of Labor. It leads to the socio-economic transformation for individuals, society, and the economy by creating unique solutions to fulfil everyone's needs.
The project aims to verify that professional workers possess the qualifications and skills required to perform their jobs in Saudi Arabia, which contributes to raising the quality of skill levels in the labor market and raising productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the team delivers the Initiative according to commitment and within the release cycle.
- Validating the Initiative before the release cycle.
- Resolving blockers and issues preventing delivery.
- Ensuring team performance and identifying bottlenecks.
- Communicating delays/blockers to stakeholders timely.
- Bridging communication between business and engineering teams, accepting/declining CRs and new business requests.
- Being responsible for solving incidents in a prod environment.
- Managing release: planning, informing stakeholders, sending release notes.
- Ensuring smooth release and fixing incidents between commitment and business requirements.
- Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Recruiting new candidates.
Must-haves:
- Experience of IT project management for 5+ years (planning, scheduling, project communication, problem solving, change and risk management).
- Experience as a Delivery Manager for 2+ years.
- Solid understanding of project management including various methodologies and tools.
- Good technical knowledge: ability to participate in technology discussions with client and stakeholders is a big plus (AWS/Azure/GCP based solution development etc.).
- Practical knowledge of Agile, software product development life cycle model (SDLC).
- Excellent planning skills and ability to quickly switch between projects without losing focus in a dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and client relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of all requirements elicitation techniques, experience in requirements management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
