Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy Execution:

  • Implement categories strategies and marketing plans developed in collaboration with the Category teams, Marketing Deployment leadership and End Market cross functions.
  • Translate global and regional brand strategies into actionable local market initiatives.
  • Ensure that all brand activities align with the company’s vision and objectives.

2. Market Analysis and Consumer Insights:

  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats and recommend strategic actions.
  • Monitor the performance of the activity against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive activities in Kazakhstan.

3. Campaign Development and Management:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, retail, and event marketing.
  • Work with creative agencies to develop and adapt marketing materials that resonate with local consumers.
  • Manage the rollout of activity campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

4. Sales and Distribution Support:

  • Collaborate with the cross functions teams to ensure that activity strategies are effectively deployed at the point of sale/channel of communication.
  • Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and materials to promote brand growth
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of brand activities in the approved scope of activities

5. Product Launches:

  • Coordinate the launch of new products (multiple categories)
  • Manage the end-to-end process of product introductions, including market readiness, communication plans, and post-launch analysis.
  • Ensure all launches are compliant with local regulations.

6. Regulatory and Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to local laws and regulations governing the sale and promotion of tobacco products.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to internal financial procedures and approved as per existing guidelines
  • Keep updated with regulatory changes and ensure the marketing activities are compliant.
  • Work with legal teams to manage any compliance issues related to marketing deployment.

7. Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the point of contact for brand-related queries and issues in Kazakhstan.
  • Coordinate with area/regional teams to ensure alignment of brand strategies.

8. Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget allocated for brand deployment activities.
  • Ensure cost-effective use of resources while achieving desired outcomes.
  • Report on budget spending and provide forecasts to the Marketing Deployment Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within FMCG or tobacco industry, with experience in brand marketing, campaign planning, and end-to-end product launches.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, and market trends in Kazakhstan.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously independently / leading cross-functions.
  • Proficient in data analysis and market research, with strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Russian and English is required, both oral and written. Knowledge of Kazakh is a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Work mode: 3 working days from the office is mandatory for all employees, 2 working days as per agreement with the hiring manager.
  • Readiness to travel within Kazakhstan and occasionally to other countries as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
