We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team.

Your tasks:

• Manage existing cloud infrastructure;

• Take duty on monitoring and fixing incidents;

• Plan and establish requirements, methods, and procedures for routine maintenance;

• Propose and implement improvements in observability and automation processes;

• Work with Dev teams to plan a CI/CD process to deliver predictable builds of measurable quality, to characterize and optimize the overall system performance;

• Audit existing systems for cost optimization and resource usage;

• Perform system Upgrades (examples: OS Upgrades, Instance Upgrades, RDS Upgrades);

• Audit & Maintain Security Groups, Autoscaling Groups, and VPCs;

• Create & maintain CloudWatch dashboards and Alerts;

• Create & maintain disaster recovery solutions and Blue/Green deployment pipelines.

Your experience:

Must-haves:

• 4+ years of commercial experience;

• Focus on AWS skillset: CloudWatch, Lambda, *EC2, ASG, LB, *RDS (instance management), Amplify Config, Route 53, *CodeDeploy/CodePipelines, S3;

• Docker/ Kubernetes;

• Linux server administration (Sh/Bash);

• English: Upper-Intermediate/Advanced.

Nice-to-haves:

• Cloud Formation;

• Development background in any of these languages: PHP, Javascript, TypeScript;

• SQS.

Soft skills:

• Highly motivated and result-oriented engineer with the ability to work independently with minimal direction;

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to software engineering;

• Pro-actively evaluate evolving technologies and recommend solutions to business problems.
