Chief Operating Officer (COO) at a crypto company

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our leadership team and support our Co-Founders in driving organizational execution. This role will enable our Co-Founders to focus on high-level strategy, communications, and vision while ensuring exceptional operational performance across all business units.

Role Summary

As Chief Operating Officer, you will serve as the right-hand person to the Co-Founders, supporting operational strategy and execution across all projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, have a reputation for being a "fixer," and possess the ability to manage complex cross-functional relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Serve as the single point of contact to the CEO/Co-Founders

• Develop and implement operational leadership across all functions

• Set comprehensive OKRs for performance and growth

• Monitor KPIs and metrics to track operational performance

• Identify and implement improvements across all business operations

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations of all business units ( operations, marketing, finance, legal, sales)

• Implement new policies and processes to mitigate business risks

• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements

• Optimize efficiency, productivity, and scalability through process improvement

• Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers

Team Leadership

• Build and develop high-performing teams

• Mediate conflicts between teams

• Facilitate productive communication and resolution

• Handle administrative issues and system approvals

• Oversee budget management and resource allocation

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Proven track record in operations management at a technology company

• Demonstrated success in complex enterprise environments

• Strong background in implementing and optimizing operational processes

• Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of crypto/blockchain/technology space

• Proficiency in operational analytics and KPI tracking

• Experience with operational risk management

Skills

• Advanced English language proficiency

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

• Experience in conflict resolution and stakeholder management

Employment Details

• Position Type: Full-time

• Location: 100% remote (no geographical restrictions)

• Compensation: Bi-weekly salary payments in crypto/stablecoins
