System Analyst (Core Banking)

This role is essential for the successful deployment of a new core banking system (CBS). The System Analyst will analyze business requirements, configure the system, and ensure a smooth migration process through close collaboration with Development and Business Analysis teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate business requirements into system specifications for core banking operations.
• Configure core banking software to meet business and regulatory needs.
• Develop data transformation logic to ensure accurate data flow.
• Customize data mapping rules within the CBS to align with specifications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical challenges related to the CBS.
• Ensure the CBS provides reliable data for reporting and analytics.
• Define data requirements for reporting and analytics with analytics teams.
• Maintain documentation of CBS configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance on CBS usage and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications are a plus.
• Experience as a System Analyst with expertise in data mapping and integration, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Banking experience or ERP/1C experience is an advantage
• Strong understanding of data mapping principles and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with data integration tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with core banking systems and data structures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
