Head of International Accounting

Our Company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of International Accounting to join our finance team and provide valuable insights about the international market while leading and supporting our team of accountants with auditing tasks

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the existing local bookkeeping of various international offices (Spain, Hungry, Poland, Panama, Costa Rica, USA)

- Perform and oversee yearly auditing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy

- Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds and countries Lead and manage an international team of accountants to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of accountants to achieve financial objectives Proficient in handling currency operations and identifying associated risks in international financial transactions

- Prepare and consolidate financial statements following international standards

- Provide comprehensive financial reporting to aid decision-making processes

- Stay up-to-date with international accounting regulations and ensure compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an international context with different legal entities

- Experience in organization of the international accounting

- English is essential (C1)

- Possess expertise in accounting software, like Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or Holded

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Stratigic thinking to develop and implement financial plans

- Ability to adapt to different cultures and work with diverse teams
