Senior RPA Commissioning Engineer

Due to the increasing volume of work, we are looking for a new team member for the position of "Senior RPA Commissioning Engineer" at PROTECSYS.

PROTECSYS was established in 2023 to provide services in product sales, project implementation, and production under Nura Group Holding. Today, PROTECSYS plays a key role in delivering the Group’s projects.

The company is an expert in power stability, committed to delivering intelligent, adaptable, robust, and environmentally friendly solutions for power generation, power grids, and industries. Our solutions include protection, automation, and control systems, FACTS technologies, renewable energy solutions, micro-grids, and engineering consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning of Protection Automation and Control system’s equipment (PAC) at substations with rated voltage levels ranging from 0.4 to 500 kV.

• Reviewing and analyzing project documentation and technical solutions.

• Testing and verification of Protection Automation and Control system’s equipment (PAC).

• Cable line continuity testing and verification.

• Maintaining technical and completion documentation upon finishing the work.

• Testing and configuring microprocessor-based PAC devices.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.

• Participating in the modernization of PAC systems.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of standards and regulatory documentation related to PAC.

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering.

• Understanding of theoretical fundamentals of electrical engineering.

• Basic knowledge in the field of PAC

• Experience with testing equipment for microprocessor-based protection (e.g., EKRA, Relematika).

• Proficiency in office software and specialized programs dedicated for Omicron, Retom.

• Proficiency in Russian; English language skills are an advantage.
