Senior Investment Specialist

•Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Lead efforts in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities by proactively sourcing deals, conducting thorough due diligence, and assessing the strategic fit with the AUIC's investment criteria.

•Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and oversee the creation of complex financial models to analyze investment opportunities, including detailed revenue forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses to assess investment risks and potential returns.

•Transaction Execution: Play a key role in executing investment transactions, including leading negotiations, structuring deals, coordinating due diligence processes, and managing the overall deal execution timeline to ensure successful closings.

•Portfolio Management: Take a lead role in managing and monitoring portfolio companies post-investment, including developing and implementing value creation strategies, monitoring financial performance, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements and growth initiatives.

•Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including Associates and Analysts, by delegating tasks, providing feedback on analyses, and facilitating their professional development within the AUIC.

•Shareholder Relations: Support the AUIC’s shareholder relations efforts by assisting in the preparation of shareholder presentations, responding to shareholder inquiries, and providing updates on investment performance and portfolio company developments.

•Market Research and Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to stay informed about market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions or portfolio company strategies.

•Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, investment committees, and external stakeholders summarizing investment opportunities, due diligence findings, portfolio performance, and strategic initiatives.

•Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and evaluate strategic initiatives for the AUIC to enhance the AUIC's competitive positioning and long-term success.

•Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the investment process, including maintaining proper documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
