Job Purpose: To assist in providing a learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all children, under the overall direction of the Class Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting one-on-one a pupil at Primary school age 7-8 years old across the curriculum

• Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language

• Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials

• Motivating and encouraging pupils

• Assisting with displays and lesson preparation

• Attending meetings and reviews

• Helping with school events, trips and activities

• Teaching classes on your own

• Covering planned absences

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree with qualification of English Teacher
• Work experience at a school not less than 3 years
• Experienced and interested to work one-to-one with a pupil at age of 7yo - 8yo
• English language level: Advanced (C1)
• Willingness to develop and improve professional skills and knowledge through ongoing feedback and development

• Awareness of learning and developmental disorders a plus.

• Knowledge of First Aid

• Training in safeguarding and child protection (provided in school)

We offer:

• Start date: November 2024

• Work hours: Mon - Fri (08-00 - 16-00); Sat and Sun - days off

• Free lunches at the school

• Service agreement contract November 2024 - June 2025
