Finance Manager

“Finance Manager” is responsible for Financial Control, Cash Flow Management, Payment Processes, Financial Intelligence, Tracking Accounting, Monitoring Monthly Accounting Closing of Subsidiaries, Following All Financial Matters of Subsidiaries, Coordination of Business Unit, Budgeting, Executing Banking Relations.

• Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability.
• Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports required by regulatory authorities. Preparing and reporting periodic budget tables, monitoring budget realization
• Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business.
• Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets.
• Compiling financial reports and supervising month-end processes.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements for accuracy to ensure that accounting standards are followed and realizing adjustments where as needed
• To monitor the accounting plan for the companies under scope and the preparation of Financial Statements.
• Prepare and guarantee precise process and product costs calculation for inventories and month end closings
• Apply and implement proper process control throughout financial activities in order to guarantee accurate information for financial reporting and avoid any over-costs for the organization.
• To develop processes for monitoring financial performance, increasing organizational control and facilitating strategic decision making.
• To secure the timely and accurate presentation for both periodical and ad-hoc financial reporting to Local and Global Management.
• To manage the relationship with both internal and external financial auditors.
• To provide any other financial support to the HQ Finance Department when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from acknowledged university, or equivalent plus possibly an MBA
• Mastery of English at business level
• At least 10+ years experience across all areas of Finance especially in Financial Control & Management, banking experience is a plus if available
• Good understanding of business and financial processes
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and insight of Qazaq Soda LLP’s business and subsoil / chemistry sector.
• Fluent in English (advanced)
• Standard IT tools (Microsoft Office and Business Objects)
• Eager to learn and believing in continuous self improvement

• Monitoring activities of closed financing deals and managing relationships with relevant lenders *

• Following up projected financial models and reporting deviation
