JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develops, assists and manages distributors in the assigned region;
- Trains distributors to meet customer needs;
- Pays close attention to communication with doctors, organizes training and advanced training programs for doctors;
- Works with tenders;
- Manages information on product and price changes;
- Develops marketing strategies and assists distributors in implementing these strategies with existing and potential customers;
- Ensures monitoring of effectiveness in achieving sales and profitability targets;
- Provides coordination and feedback with production, marketing and other departments to resolve issues related to product quality or company processes;
Prepares performance and sales reports for management and participates in business reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Business, with extensive course work in marketing;
- A minimum of four years experience as a sales manager overseeing a distributors network, preferably in the medical device industry;
- A thorough understanding of distributors management principles and the ability to select, develop, and manage distributors;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the medical manufacturing business and the ability to work with manufacturing and marketing staff to make improvements in products and methods;
- Tactfulness and skill in working with a broad variety of individuals in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to earn their trust and support in working toward mutual goals.
