We are currently looking for an Oracle Developer:

What you’ll do:

• Developing and supporting ETL component for large enterprise system;
• Server-side development using PL/SQL;
• Review Oracle Database and System logs, troubleshoot and analyze problems identified in the system;
• Identify performance issues and bottlenecks, implement fixes;
• Implement and provide HFs and permanent fixes;
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers and possibly end users;
• Maintain existing code bases;
• Contribute to best practices and internal knowledge base.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 5+ years;
• Good Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL-SQL;
• Hands-on experience on Procedures, packages, functions, pl-sql collections, Materialized views, M-view logs, DB schedulers etc.;
• Undertake impact assessment of change requests, Improvement, Product Bug against applications / products within the given domain;
• Review and investigate issues raised by client and provide accurate guidance / root cause;
• Understand existing application and able to implement new functionalities / CRs (Change Requests) on it, based on client requirement;
• Proficient in DB performance tuning, explain plans, Indexes;
• Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques; Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems. Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers;
• Demonstrates knowledge in applying good coding practices (clear code and comments).
