Senior Automation QA Engineer (С#)

Murano Software is engaged in software development under the order (outsourcing) and development of own product on the .NET platform which is successfully distributed in the territory of the USA.

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for our outsourcing project, which is an e-commerce platform for a large American company with clothing and accessories stores in over 80 countries around the world.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support agile software development through planning, designing, developing and executing various software quality processes within the Kanban methodology. Key accountabilities include implementation of best practice techniques for web automated testing, systematically testing data quality aspects of applications across platforms, functional and regression testing. This role requires strong technical skills, including the ability to create, document and execute test strategies and test plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automated tests for Web UI and API
• Work with developers and business team to understand and identify edge case scenarios and provide related risks assessments
• Monitor defect resolution efforts and track successes
• Increase a codebase of automated tests of the application
• Perform smoke/regression tests before the release
• Provide functional, regression testing
• Coach and mentor other QA members to improve team performance
• Report to QA Lead.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years’ of Quality Assurance experience
• 3 years’ of experience in writing automation framework in С# or Java (We use C#)
• Experience with web UI and API testing
• Strong knowledge in QA processes and test methodologies, understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle and Defect Life cycle
• Experience with Selenium or Cypress automation tools
• Experience in unit testing (NUnit)
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Git, CI, BrowserStack or similar products
• Ability to maintain a high level of effective communication within the teams.
• Experience with Atlassian software development tools: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Bug tracking systems (TestRail)
• High-level analytical skills and critical thinking
• English level - intermediate+.
