Lecturer in Introduction to Economics

UDEA is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to teach the Introduction to Economics module as part of the Coventry University program. This role offers a valuable opportunity to introduce students to economic principles, equipping them with the analytical skills necessary for understanding global economic systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and facilitate interactive discussions for the Introduction to Economics module.
• Guide students through fundamental economic concepts, including supply and demand, market structures, economic policy, and macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis.
• Prepare and update course materials to align with Coventry University standards and current economic trends.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, engagement, and practical application of economic concepts.

• Master’s degree in Economics or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in higher education, demonstrating a commitment to student-centered instruction.
• Solid understanding of core economic principles, including both microeconomics and macroeconomics.
