Head the marketing and sales function to achieve the sales targets and growth objectives of the country sales and marketing team. Contribute in the development and implementation of an effective marketing and sales strategy to maximize the revenues, gross margins and market share
Role, Responsibilities, Accountabilities, Authorities and Delegation of Authority
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Influence and capacitate the team to implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, achieve budgeted revenue targets within stipulated timelines.
- Determine annual sales and market share plans by forecasting and presenting annual sales budgets; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring ASP, competition, supply, and demand.
- Institutionalize the commercial excellence best practices and processes through effective implementation of the integrated sales model.
- Monitor the implementation of tools and framework for marketing and sales effectiveness processes including sales force effectiveness, ROI, new product launch KPIs and data analytics. Track progress of marketing and sales plans’ implementation. Ensure that all Getz Pharma brands market share is increased consistently at National, Region, Area and Territory level.
Marketing & Brand Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing excellence team to develop and execute strategies for existing and new products, ensuring successful launches and rapid uptake.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and key decision-makers in the medical community.
- Represent the organization at various medical conferences to promote the Getz Pharma brand.
- Maintain a consistent corporate image across all product lines and promotional activities.
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market conditions.
- Monitor and manage distributor and retail inventory levels to optimize stock, avoid shortages, and comply with company policy

Team Leadership & Performance:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and performing at their best.
- Coach and counsel team members on effective execution of sales and marketing strategies, processes, and policies. Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results that include performance appraisals.
- Evaluate, maintain, and develop the team's knowledge of disease areas, products, and competition.
