Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences

Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in Kazakhstan is inviting you to apply for the next teaching positions in one or several disciplines:

• PhD/ MSc Statistics, Numerical Analysis, Applied Mathematics;

• PhD Mathematical Analysis;

• PhD Calculus, Algebra, Analysis, PDEs;

• PhD/ MSc Calculus, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics;

Responsibilities:

• Delivering classes (both lectures and seminars) to undergraduate and graduate students.

• Doing research on research priority areas of respective faculty.

• Supervising the doctoral, master and undergraduate dissertations.

• Attaining effort to empower SDU academic journals.

• Actively participating in networking and team-building activities.

Requirements:

• Education: PhD holder

• Having a portfolio of international, peer-reviewed publications (preferably Scopus or WoS)

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a reputable higher educational institution

• Experience as a principal investigator or research team member in national or international research projects would be preferable

Skills:

• Conduct independent research using various research methods (qualitative, quantitative or mixed).

• Advanced level of written and oral skills of Academic English.

Working conditions:

• Official employment under the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

• Working hours: 5/2, 9:00-18:00, lunchtime 13:00-14:00
