ServiceNow Developer

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced person to fill the position of ServiceNow Developer to work on a large-scale project for the European customer.

The customer is a leading software integrator and IT solutions provider. For 40 years, the company has been renowned for its comprehensive enterprise software solutions and services, catering to both large enterprises and the public sector. In addition to digital transformation, it offers IoT platforms and energy efficiency solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.

The project is the implementation of the ServiceNow platform for a major energy sector client. The project aims to optimize IT operations, strategic planning, and security management while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Technology stack: ServiceNow, JavaScript, REST API, SOAP API, MID Servers, Angular, .NET, SAP, Oracle, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, LeanIX, Zabbix, Arbor, Oracle DB, ITIL.

Responsibilities:

• Configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, and SPM.
• Developing business rules, workflows, and other automation features using JavaScript.
• Integrating ServiceNow with external systems (SAP, Oracle, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and others) via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Managing and maintaining the CMDB, including setting up Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Supporting ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, and Request Management.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to ensure high quality.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed solutions.

Must-haves:

• Experience working with the ServiceNow platform for 3+ years.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience integrating with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM (HAM/SAM).
• Knowledge of CMDB and expertise in configuring Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Proven ability to customize workflows and develop business rules.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM.
• Familiarity with Angular for customizing Service Portal interfaces.
• Knowledge of .NET for advanced integration scenarios.
• ITIL certifications or knowledge of ITIL methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with SecOps or SPM modules.
• Participation in greenfield ServiceNow implementation projects.
