Middle DevOps Engineer

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Middle DevOps Engineer to work in the field of Marketing and Advertising.

The customer is a German company, part of one of the largest media agency networks in the world. The company is a global leader in marketing, communications and business transformation. It operates in over 100 countries, providing a vast network of resources and expertise to its clients. The company works with some of the world's largest and most well-known brands, including Heineken, L'Oréal, Renault, and Walmar.

The project is to unify products from two markets (Europe and the USA) and obtain a single media platform. Our engineers are going through the difficult path of global product unification and business transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing Privacy by design in a modern Azure Cloud Environment.
• Performing Security & Compliance related operations.
• Scanning for threats, managing certificates & password policies.
• Protecting data proactively by GDPR guidelines.
• Monitoring and analyzing data using Azure IAAS and PAAS Cloud Native services.
• Creating and maintaining best practices and documentation related to security processes, procedures, and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with Software Engineers, Architects, QA Team.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a System Engineer (DevOps) for 2+ years.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hand-on experience with AzureCloud provider with infra and services.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and other networking protocols, experience with Azure Virtual Networks.
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Azure Firewall, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Knowledge of setting up and managing Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
• Experience with identity and access management solutions, such as Azure Active Directory, Okta, or Ping Identity.
• Familiarity with creating and managing Azure Policies for governance and compliance.
• Familiarity with using Azure Log Analytics for monitoring and analyzing logs.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools and security management practices.
• Knowledge of various diagnostics tools for troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using templates such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based and Windows-based systems.
• Good communication skills, responsibility and reliability.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management systems (e.g., Azure Sentinel).
• Basic Azure IaaS Knowledge.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with serverless functions (Azure Functions), containers (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instances), and microservices (Azure Service Fabric, Azure API Management).
