Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to work in the field of Marketing and Advertising.

The customer is a German company, part of one of the largest media agency networks in the world. The company is a global leader in marketing, communications and business transformation. It operates in over 100 countries, providin a vast network of resources and expertise to its clients. The company works with some of the world's largest and most well-known brands, including Heineken, L'Oréal, Renault, and Walmar.

The project is to unify products from two markets (Europe and the USA) and obtain a single media platform. Our engineers are going through the difficult path of global product unification and business transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Developing cloud web applications to optimize internal processes.
• Developing user interface (scripts and styles).
• Backend developing in service-oriented architecture.
• Extending and connecting standard software to business processes.
• Regular unit testing and identification of bugs or performance bottlenecks.
• Close cooperating with other teams and participants (UX designers, product managers, architects, QA).
• Working in agile teams using an approach based on Driven and Kanban.

Must-haves:

• Experience with .NET for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core.
• Expertise in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency in working with JSON.
• Experience with Unit-Test Frameworks (XUnit).
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, particularly MS SQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cosmos DB.
• Good communication skills, responsibility and reliability.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with Docker for containerization.
