Shopper and Customer Marketing Manager (Head of Trade Marketing)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy Development:
- Proven experiences of matching brand strategies and channel strategies and translating it into execution.
- Create and manage customer marketing campaigns to drive engagement and sales across multiple channels.
- Consumer Insights & Analysis:
- Analyze shopper behavior and trends to identify opportunities for marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and oversee the execution of promotional campaigns, including in-store displays and national/customer promotions.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Leading and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers.
- Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
- Leading activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility.
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment of trade marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, promotions, In-Store KPI’s using key metrics and measure effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management on campaign performance and ROI.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget for shopper and customer marketing initiatives.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximize return on investment.
- Store Execution:
- Own a store-back mindset in all programs and workstreams.
- Leadership & People Management:
- Ensure correct profile and seniority in every position, own and drive a store-back mindset in all aspects of SCM work.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of combined experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Shopper Marketing/ Trade Marketing areas with experience of people management.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and marketing analytics.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, analytics platforms).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of consumer industry and experience in managing several markets are preferable.
