Senior Technical Recruiter
What You'll Do
As a Senior Recruiter, you will:

Conduct full cycle technical recruiting in all functions/departments within the organization, including posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offers.

Partner closely with hiring managers to become a subject matter expert in the technical requirements for our technical positions, with an emphasis on software engineers, and develop a deep understanding of how the positions impact the organization.

Build strategic plans for sourcing candidates with diverse backgrounds for each of your roles. This includes leveraging market data and multiple sourcing channels to identify high caliber candidates and maintain a healthy pipeline for priority roles.

Build a network of candidates by engaging passive talent through proactive market research and in-depth assessment of candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.

Provide regular status reports and real-time candidate tracking.

Be the face of Mapbox to our candidates. Maintain professional and courteous communication with candidates to foster long-term relationships and build equity in our employer brand across our European markets.
What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

5+ years of experience in recruiting for engineering roles.

Ability to work independently full cycle, and ability to collaborate, influence, and provide consultative support throughout the recruitment process.

Team player who actively contributes to the team's success through knowledge-sharing, support, and engaging in team activities.

Experience working on a globally distributed recruiting team.

Proven track record of recruiting in European markets, understanding regional hiring trends, and legal requirements.

Strong sourcing skills, engaging and attracting passive candidates, building diverse pipelines, and creating innovative sourcing strategies.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.

A love for Data. You enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better your process to make it more efficient.
