Primary school teacher (2-4 grades), 12:00-13:40

Kartsev primary school is looking for a Primary/Elementary School teacher for our 2-4 grade schoolers. This is part time work - 2 lessons a day, usually 5 days a week. Lessons start at 12:00 and finish at 13:40, break 10 min.

Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching English by communicate approach through games and involving activities

• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that meet each child’s needs and interests. Develop and implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in the class
• Observe and assess each child’s progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records
• Help children develop self-control and emotional regulation skills
• Maintaining a safe environment for children by enforcing safety regulations and procedures
• Encourage creativity and independent thinking through exploration and play
• Model positive behavior and social interactions for the children
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth running classroom and program
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s development and daily activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities to keep abreast of new trends and best practices in early childhood education
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in school education or related field

• 2+ years experience teaching in a school setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Conditions

• Salary is 2800 rubles for a day (1 day = 2 lessons)
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 - 13:40 (incl. 10 minutes of break between 2 lessons)
• The school is in near by Krasnopresnenskaya (14 minutes by foot), Smolenskaya (11 minutes by foot)
