IT Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team in Metso Almaty Office.

This role interfaces with Business, therefore, you will be required to supporting local Business End -Users with all their daily IT needs.

Be present and ensure alignment with Business requirements related to IT.

Ability to travel to remote sites.

Job Requirements

• Work with global / local teams to develop and implement new requirements related to IT services.
• Follow-up and discuss improvements with IT Vendors and Service Management Office team.
• Participate in global/ local meetings, gather and provide needed information.
• Responsible to manage local applications, including 1C ERP.
• Manage or be part of local projects: (Local End User Support, Printer services, IT Infrastructure support, Computer replacement, Mobile phone replacement and process harmonization, On Boarding Off-Boarding improvement, Infrastructure documentation.
• Knowledge of SaaS and IaaS.
• Work close to Regional IT EMEA Services Delivery Managers (Vendor Management: Metso IT contact for local vendors related to IT services.
• IT Procurement: Manage IT devices stock, follow-up with procurement area to make sure availa bility of IT end user’s devices.
• Follow-up Support Services, participate in global meetings and ensure the best service.
• IT audit process: Follow-up internal processes and make sure IT department is compliant with local and global guidance.
• Assist IT manager in all subsequent scope of work assigned not limited to the above role description.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of IT Onsite Support Services.
• 3+ years of experience in IT.
• Upper Intermediate English or higher.
• Excellent communication.
• Result-oriented.
• Proactivity and responsibility.
• Teamwork – Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
