Who Will You Be Working With?

At our LKZ plant, you'll be part of the Technological Department, a team dedicated to advancing welding technology and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our production processes. Here, you will collaborate daily with various departments and skilled professionals to implement and optimize welding procedures, driving efficiency and innovation.

How Will You Make a Difference?

As a Lead Welding Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our welding technology implementation on the production floor. Your role will involve analyzing and improving welding technology and quality, developing necessary technical documentation, and ensuring its application in production. You will also coordinate the certification and training of welders, monitor adherence to technological processes, and contribute to defect analysis and resolution.

What Do We Want to Know About You?

We are looking for:

  • A dedicated professional with a higher education degree in Welding Production or Metallurgy.
  • An engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a strong understanding of welding production regulatory documentation.

Your experience should demonstrate a solid understanding of welding, mechanical processing, and heat treatment, as well as knowledge of non-destructive and destructive testing methods.

Possession of an IWS/IWT/IWE diploma and knowledge of EN15085 are advantageous, as is experience with international projects.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software is essential.

Fluency in Kazakh and Russian is mandatory, while knowledge of English is a plus.

What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

  • Coordinate welding technology implementation on the production floor.
  • Analyze welding technology and quality, evaluate equipment performance, and develop advanced welding methods to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and ensure the use of necessary technical documentation in production.
  • Participate in determining the enterprise's need for qualified welders and their certification.
  • Coordinate the activities of departments involved in technological preparation for welding tasks.
  • Monitor adherence to technological processes and report deviations.
  • Analyze the causes of defects and low-quality production, and develop measures to prevent and eliminate them.
