Chief Accountant (location- Dubai)

Dubai Free Zone holding company engaged in the Real Estate in EMENA calls for joining its team

Position: Chief Accountant / Tax Specialist / Financial Manager

Main job responsibilities:

Accounting, reporting, taxes

• Development of accounting and tax policies

• Maintaining accounting and tax records (UAE, HK, EU)

• Control of schedules and terms of payments, obligations and settlements

• Storage of electronic copies and originals of financialdocuments

• Submission of tax and other reports, preparation of transcripts

• Tax planning, monitoring changes in legislation

• Working with external tax consultants, auditors

• Analysis of tax and financial risks

Budgeting

• Development of budget, financial models and calculations

• Monthly reports "Plan/actual P&L", "Plan/actual Cash flow"

Treasury

• Opening bank accounts

• Maintaining the "Register of invoices and payments"

• Inputting payments, downloading statements (bank-online systems)

• Answering bank requests for payments, collecting documents

Requirements:

• higher academic education in accounting, economics or finances

• at least 10 years of professional experience in accounting,taxation and finance

• knowledge of IFRS

• knowledge of EU and UAE tax systems

• expressed analytical skills, experience in developing financial models

• good work organization and computer skills accounting software, Excel, Power Point, Visio

• honesty, high management responsibility, striving for professional growth, positive attitude

• English and Russian language
