Tax Manager

Citibank is a part of the largest international financial corporation with more than 200 years of history and it is looking for Tax Manager​​​​​​​.

Responsibilities:;

• Oversight and management of all direct and indirect tax processes and reporting;
• Management of tax consultant and tax authorities’ relationship;
• Management of Tax audits, investigations and tax litigations etc.;
• Review of Local tax law changes and implications (and inform senior management appropriately);
• Timely execution of tax payments / filing and preparation;
• Assessment of WHT implications;
• Implementation and management of Tax GRC and related controls;
• Review the tax position of the Bank and searching for opportunities for its optimization;
• Income tax accruals, Contingent tax reserves and Effective Tax Rate management;
• Review of tax rules and compliance with the requirements, implementation of changes in the ongoing process;
• Review and Assessment/notice orders negotiations with tax authorities;
• Intercompany ICSAs review and sign-off including APS reconciliations;
• Transfer pricing documentations and reconciliations;
• Management of all corporate tax requirements;
• Earnings distributions or retentions;
• Assistance with execution of global/regional/ cluster tax requests;
• Advisory to business and functional teams on tax implications;
• Coordination and timely preparation of transfer pricing documentation, CbCR reporting.

Requirements:​​​​​​​

• Degree in Economics or Law;
• Possession of ACA, ACCA, CFA or other relevant professional qualification or relevant higher degree is a preference;
• Minimum of 10 Years post-graduation experience, of which 6 Years must be in Banking;
• Strong tax background and knowledge;
• Analytical and Financial Skills: applicant must have understanding of the Firm's financials, balance sheet and income statement with ICG Product knowledge, ability to discern key drivers and risk/opportunities;
• Communication skills: will be interacting with the senior management in the franchise, on a variety of internally driven and function driven deliverables;
• Teamwork/Relationship Management: the position requires extensive teamwork, partnership and collaboration across Finance and other functions;
• Experience in Citi reporting processes or Product processing group will be an added advantage;
• Good knowledge of banking products, business and accounting;
• Fluent English.
