Company Overview:

Join Interlogis, a dynamic logistics company that provides comprehensive transportation and freight forwarding services. With a customer-centric approach, Interlogis offers tailored logistics solutions to meet its clients' unique needs. The company excels in domestic and international road transport, ensuring fast and safe delivery across various European routes.

We are looking for a Country Director to oversee the company's activities in Kyrgyzstan. The person will be responsible for establishing the newly created branch of the company in Kyrgyzstan and then managing the entity and its resources. The Kyrgyz Shared Service Center will be responsible for driver freight forwarding, 24/7 driver dispatching, back office functions (primarily HR, payroll, and other support functions), and eventually, driver recruitment from the region for European routes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Business Leadership
    • Establish the operating activities of the company’s newly created Kyrgyzstan branch.
    • Lead and manage the business operations for Kyrgyzstan in the short, medium, and long term horizons, aiming to achieve financial and non-financial objectives, especially in terms of business savings through functions outsourcing from central Europe.
    • Makes key decisions for the managed entity, especially in the areas of recruitment, operational excellence, etc.
    • Develop mid-term business strategies tailored to oversee the company-shared services for European Operations.

  1. Leadership and Organizational Excellence:
    • Oversee business operations with P&L responsibility, including short-term (1 year) and medium-term (3 years) business planning, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality transportation and logistics services.
  • Liaisons with the Board and Polish entity to make sure all efforts are in alignment, supervision of shared service creation and growth in Kyrgyzstan
  • Build and maintain a strong team operating in Kyrgyzstan.
    • Direct and supervise the activities of staff.
  • Implement best practices in fleet management, route optimisation, and cargo handling to maximise operational performance.

  1. Financial Management:
    • Manage the country’s P&L, ensuring profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
    • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and take corrective actions to meet financial targets.

  1. Risk Management:
    • Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity in case of unforeseen challenges such as economic changes, regulatory shifts, or natural disasters.

Qualifications:

  • University degree required;
  • Minimum of 5 years of business & people management experience in a similar role;
  • Proven track record in operations management;
  • Experience in change management;
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to structure, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Fluent in English & Russian
  • Proven experience in the TSL industry will be an additional asset.​​​​​​​
