Apigee developer

We are recruiting a team for a large American company - a world leader in the production of special machinery, industrial machinery and equipment since 1886.

A leader because the company's machines are high-tech, reliable and economical. Each machine has hundreds of sensors. The company's 30 million machines in the world transmit petabytes of data. All this data is invaluable to customers - quickly and efficiently managing their business and the team creates an innovative platform to perform predictive analytics.

Team is responsible for the process, controls, security, publishing, consumption, monitoring and overall of governance of APIs on Apigee platform .

This is a Global team with members in US & India .

Required:

1. Experience writing API proxies on platforms like Apigee Edge (preferred), AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar.

2. Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral, experience with GitHub.

3. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS.

4. Hands on experience with metrics and visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent.

5. Hands on experience with scripting languages like python/JavaScript or similar.

6. English from B2

Desired:

*Familiarity working in a Scrum environment

*Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS

*Familiarity with ADO/GitHub

*Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.

*Good time management skills and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment .

*Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms. Passion for technology.

A typical Day

1. Reviewing OAS /Swaggers - Operational
2. Developing Proxies - Operations
3. Rotational weekly On Call Support /Incident Management using Service Now.
4. Other Development Tasks like GitHub.
