Data Science Lead

What You'll Do:

• Lead a small team of data scientists, mentoring and driving team performance.
• Develop and optimize pipelines for our proprietary market indices.
• Create and evaluate new indices, comparing them with market benchmarks.
• Innovate new data analysis methods and improve our analytics pipelines.
• Analyze time series data to forecast trends and detect anomalies.
• Drive product development by proposing new tools and features.

What We're Looking For:

• Leadership experience in managing and mentoring data science teams.
• Expertise in time series analysis and complex data flows.
• Proven ability to optimize data processes and deliver high-quality insights.

Tech Skills:

• Proficiency in Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Seaborn.
• Experience with BI tools (Grafana, PowerBI, or similar).
• Advanced time series analysis tools (Prophet, Statsforecast, etc.).
• Knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, and working with REST APIs.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with large-scale integration or analytics projects.

Education:

• We encourage applicants from diverse educational backgrounds with strong foundations in data science, mathematics, or related fields.
• Degrees from institutions known for strong programs in mathematics, physics, and computer science can be an advantage.
• However, we are open to all qualified applicants, regardless of their alma mater, as long as they bring the necessary skills and experience to the role.
