Middle/Senior QA Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Middle/Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key member of our Quality Assurance team, responsible for ensuring that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will apply advanced testing methodologies and work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Functional and Regression Testing: Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to validate new features and ensure existing features are working as expected.
• Automation Testing: Design and implement automated tests using appropriate frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes.
• Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking systems, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the development team.
• Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure the system can handle anticipated user demand.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on product functionality and user experience.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, test scripts, and testing processes to ensure clarity and repeatability.
• Quality Assurance Best Practices: Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to ensure the team follows QA best practices.
• Product Quality: Actively participate in improving overall product quality by identifying areas for improvement in both processes and the product itself.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing practices.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QA tools and frameworks, scripting languages and bug tracking tools.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with test automation for web applications.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide creative solutions to testing challenges.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
