Project Manager

Position Overview:

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a computer vision project within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of computer vision technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:

   • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
   • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
   • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

2. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

   • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, QA specialists, and external vendors.
   • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring clear understanding of tasks, responsibilities, and expectations.
   • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on project status, risks, and issues.

3. Technical Oversight:

   • Work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, challenges, and progress.
   • Ensure that the technical aspects of the project meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
   • Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision technology to ensure the project leverages the most effective solutions.

4. Risk Management & Problem Solving:

   • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
   • Resolve issues and roadblocks that may arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule.

5. Budget & Resource Management:

   • Monitor project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
   • Adjust project plans and budgets as necessary to accommodate changes in scope or unforeseen challenges.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

   • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure their needs are met.
   • Act as the primary point of contact for the project, representing the project team in meetings and discussions with stakeholders.

7. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
   • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, including KPIs, to be presented to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with experience in managing computer vision or AI-related projects.
  • Strong background in software development, data science, or computer vision technologies.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with computer vision frameworks, tools, and techniques.
  • Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and image processing.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
