About the Role:
As a System Architect on our team, you will design our product architectures. Your role involves in-depth collaboration with stakeholders, including architects from other product teams within the company, to understand their needs and translate these into robust and effective architectural designs. You will lead the high-level concept development and oversee the detailed design and implementation phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Develop and maintain high-impact architectural concepts that shape the overall product architecture and its components to meet specified requirements.
- Feature Design: Collaborate with the system analyst’s team to create high-level feature designs.
- Design Review: Evaluate and provide feedback on low-level design and implementation strategies proposed by the development team.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance during the design and implementation phases of application development.
- Proof of Concept Development: Create and validate proof of concepts to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of architectural solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including architects from other product teams, to understand and incorporate their requirements for the system architecture
Requirements:
- Software Release Process Understanding: Knowledge of the software release process.
- Microservice Architecture Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in designing and working with microservice architectures.
- Business Process Modeling and UML: Experience in business process modeling, with proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- Experience with PaaS Tools: Solid experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) tools, especially Kubernetes or Openshift.
- System Thinking: Strong ability to approach architectural design in a structured and methodical manner.
- Process Establishment and Improvement: Experience in establishing, controlling, and improving new processes.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proactive Attitude: Demonstrating a proactive approach in all aspects of work.
- Understanding of Software Development Process: Knowledge of software development processes, including CI/CD.
Preferred Competences:
- Backend Development Experience: Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience with API Design: Experience in REST API design, including the OpenAPI specification
- Knowledge of SQL and Database Design: Fundamental understanding of SQL and database design principles.
