.NET Developer
Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced .NET Developer to join its team for working with a company from the USA.
The customer is a company specializing in workload automation and orchestration financial services sector. They focus on providing solutions that save time, reduce costs, and eliminate human error, allowing IT resources to be deployed on more strategic initiatives.
The project is designed to help financial services, retail, and other transactional businesses automate manual tasks and streamline operations. This platform is particularly beneficial for banks, credit unions, and insurance companies, offering enterprise-level power and scalability without the associated complexity or cost.
Tech stack on the project: .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core; C# and VB.NET; WinForms and WPF; MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL; Entity Framework, Dapper; Git.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining applications using .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8.0.
- Working with C# and VB.NET to build and optimize desktop applications.
- Designing and enhancing user interfaces using WinForms, WPF, and Infragistics UI components.
- Managing and interacting with databases like MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Utilizing ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper for database management.
- Adhering to SOLID principles to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Using Git for source control and collaborating with teams through Sourcetree as a graphical client.
- Optimizing code performance, debugging and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborating with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
- Maintaining proper documentation of code and system changes.
Must-haves:
- Experience in .NET development from 5+ years.
- Proficient in .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core.
- Experience with C# and VB.NET.
- Strong experience with WinForms and WPF for desktop application development
- Skilled in working with SQL databases such as MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework or Dapper.
- Deep understanding of and experience applying SOLID principles.
- Experience with Git and using Sourcetree as a graphical client.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and ReSharper for productivity enhancements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
