Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between client and contractor objectives.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Conduct frequent site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Interface with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations and requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports, project documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive performance of the project team, setting clear goals and leading by example.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the established standards of quality and client requirements.
• Manage unplanned business trips and overtime work when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Specific Requirements:

• Kazakh, Russian is must. Advanced English proficiency.
• Extensive experience in Detailed Design (including passing State Expertise), industrial construction, commissioning, and facility start-up.
• Knowledge of RoK legislation related to design and construction.
• Previous project management experience in subsoil use companies is a significant advantage.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data analysis skills and smeta knowledge are a plus.
• Ability to identify priority actions and execute effectively with the project team.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility for all project aspects.
