QA engineer

SimpITy a division of GP Solutions company is looking for a QA Engineer. You will take part in testing of product responsible for monitoring, collecting, analysis, and storing information on changes in IT infrastructures of companies, including on-premises and cloud-based resources.

Your tasks will include:

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Deployment test environment.
• Perform several types of software testing and compliance with the requirements.
• Integration testing between individual product components and external services.
• Identify, document and report bugs and errors to development teams using bug tracking system (Azure DevOps).
• Work closely with developers, product managers, support, and other stakeholders to communicate and prioritize bugs and issues.
• Reviewing documentation.

For successful work you will need:

• Experience in software testing.
• Experience with one of the virtualization systems: Hyper-V, VMware.
• Knowledge of server and client OS of the Windows family.
• Skills in working with on-premises Active Directory, DNS Server, Group Policy, MS SQL Server, Exchange.
• Knowledge of security principles in MS Windows, NTFS.
• Experience in building a test lab, working in an isolated environment.
• Experience in black / gray box testing.
• English level B1 (Intermediate).

Will be a plus:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with networks based on TCP\IP, including understanding of TCP/UDP/ICMP protocols.
• Understanding the principles of DHCP, NAT, routing tables.
• Knowledge and ability to administer families of *nix systems.
• Ability/experience in test automation, knowledge of programming languages, scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud services and architecture (Entra ID, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure).
