Hiring organization: PU “One Village One Product+1” (joint project with WFP)

Position: Project Coordinator

Salary: 920 USD including all taxes

Deadline: 16 November, 2024

Background: The joint project with WFP is devoted to supporting strategic outcome 3 (S03) with the establishment of mini-processing facilities using OVOP approach. The target regions are Batken (Batken, Kadamjai, Leilek), Osh (Nookat, Aravan), and Naryn (Naryn, Jumgal, Ak-Talaa). Below is a short list of project activities to be implemented:

• Development of 43 products from raw materials
• Mobilization of local producers
• Holding training for local producers
• Establishment of 43 mini-workshops
• Preparation of technical specifications for equipment procurement
• Further supervision of mini-processing workshops

Requirements:

• Higher education
• Fluency in English language
• Work experience not less than 3 years
• Accountancy experience is welcome
• Ability for long business trips to regions of Kyrgyzstan
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Communication, management & teamwork skills

Duties:

• To support the coordination of the project activities under the OVOP+1 management
• Coordinate technical training to be held by project team members
• Effective communication with local producers, local government agencies & other stakeholders
• To monitor preparations for the workshops
• To assist local producers
• To assist producers in promoting their products
